1. The first step is what I call a Discovery Session. Always complimentary.
This is where we get to know each other, discuss what’s on your mind and what you’re looking for.
I share what health coaching is all about and how it works.
If there is a mutually beneficial fit and it makes sense to move forward, I will have you take a health assessment to provide some insights on areas that you want to focus on and we’ll schedule our first session.
2. We kick-off with a LIFEMAP session.
This first session is critical to establishing your personal plan by reviewing your health assessment, creating a vision for where you want to go, exploring your strengths and values, reflecting on your most important aspirations, and identifying health and lifestyle goals to help you optimize your well-being.
3. Then we get rolling and do the work together - the good stuff.
After discussing your objectives, we’ll develop a custom plan - including the frequency of our meetings and how it will work.
Everything that we do will be based solely on your needs. I will give you 110%. For you to be successful, you will need to give 110% too.
Generally I recommend meeting weekly for the first four weeks, and then moving to biweekly sessions. Each time we meet we focus on what you want to accomplish, and work on a plan to get you there. So much of the magic of health coaching is being by your side as an accountability partner as you create and follow through on your plan to optimize your health, and optimize your life.
But knowing and doing are two entirely different challenges. Let me help you with the doing.
